Becoming A Taxi Driver
Few realise the importance a Taxi driver plays in the community, where they can
introduce a tourist to their city, ensure a child gets to and from school, ensures a business person is on schedule for an important meeting, rush an urgent message or medical supplies to Medical Centres or just make sure the household groceries arrive home in one
piece at the end of a gruelling shopping day.
If you ever thought of being your own boss or running your own business this is

has day, night, weekend and casual shifts available now.
Taxis have the latest range of vehicles in it's fleet, including:

Requirements for Taxi Driving:
a taxi you require a Drivers Authorisation, which is issued by the Department
of Transport and Main Roads. To be granted Driver Authorisation, the following
requirements must be met:-
- To have held an Australian/Queensland issued Drivers Licence (open) continuously for at least 12 months for a
car, truck or bus.
- Must have a satisfactory
criminal history record.
- A current Medical
Certificate for Motor Vehicle Driving from your local GP.
- A "successful"
English Assessment letter.
- A confirmation of Training
Apart from your Drivers licence the above can all be organised through Blue and White Taxis Gladstone.
